The Fabulous Fashion Show With Joy and Her Dolls!

Hello, everyone! Today Joy and I have something super special for you! It's a............Fashion Show featuring her dolls as models! But before we get started walking down the runway, I need to introduce you to our models! From left to right, they are; Gemma, Caroline, Samantha, and Kiera.

First off down the runway, we have Samantha! She is modeling a stylish baking outfit.

Her apron has a cute motif of a flower, and polka-dotted ruffles along the top! (She is also holding a very delicious looking cake......mmmmm)

Samantha is wearing pink leggings, and comfy shoes for walking around the kitchen.

Next up is.....Caroline! She is looking very dainty in her black-and-burgundy plaid dropwaist dress, holding a bouquet of flowers. 

Caroline also has a plaid purse over her shoulder....It looks so pretty with her blonde curls toppling down her back!

And who's that shyly stepping in wearing red Mary-Janes?

Kiera! In her soft pink tutu and tights, she looks ready to dance! Her soft blond hair is clipped back with a matching barrette, and she has a bouquet of pale pink roses.

And of course, last but not least, Gemma steps onto the runway! She wears a beautiful green dress with a peter-pan collar, buttons, and red flowers on the skirt.

In her hair are multi-colored flowers, and over her shoulders is a stylish vest.

Curtain call! Everyone comes out to bow after their lovely performance!

So, did you like that? I know, I know, Ellie should SO have been in it, but I didn't have her with me at Joy's house. Oh, and which would you rather see first-how to make a doll fish tank, or what happens when the dolls go camping?

The Golden Hour with Maryellen; A Photoshoot

Hello, everybody! I did this beautiful photoshoot of Ellie during the golden hour last week, and finally got around to sharing it! Hold on, can I just vent for a second? TOMORROW IS EASTER GAH I AM CRAVING CHOCOLATE LIKE CRAZY!! WHY OH WHY DID I HAVE TO GIVE UP CANDY AND CEREAL FOR LENT IT IS KILLING ME!!!!! *Takes deep breath* Ok, now for the photoshoot. 😊

I had fun putting together her outfit-I like the crop-top-but-not look.

I specially curled her hair for this occasion, and it was worth it!

GAH SHE IS SO PRETTY! AKSGPLUGFHT!!!!!!!!

THAT HAIR! People say they want my hair, and I just say, ''you should see my doll's!''

So. So. So. SO. PRETTY!!!!

Those hazel-green eyes and freckles! (If you're wondering, yes, I added them with a washable marker. They wipe of with a wet paper towel)

I got what I call a 'sun haze' in this picture. I like it better when it has those hexagonal shiny things in it, but this is still pretty.

More hair pictures. Ellie has tons of it, and it is so luscious, thick, and soft with lots of pretty highlights.

Hairstyle; How to Bead Your Doll's Hair!

Hi, everyone! Happy Saturday! Today I'm going to show you how to put beads in your doll's hair. Let's get started! You'll need;

Pony beads

An AG brush (or any other wire wig brush)

A bobby pin or hair pin

A small, rubber band or thread the color of your doll's hair
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

                   

Step 1. Brush out your doll's hair. You can mist it beforehand, but I usually don't need to.

Step 2. Section off a small piece of hair, and brush it. Just don't make it too large, or the bead won't slide on.

Step 3. Slip the hair into a bobby pin as shown......

           

Step 4. Slide a bead onto the bobby pin......

Step 5. Using the bobby pin as a pull tab, pull the hair through the bead, forming a little loop...

                                                  

Step 6. Pull the hair all the way through the bead and-Voila! One bead down!

Now repeat steps 4-6 for as many beads as you want! Here I am halfway done....

I'm threading the bead onto the bobby pin....

And pulling the hair through...

And I tied it off with a little bit of brown thread, but a hair tie will work just as well.😉

And she's done! Isn't Adi pretty with beads in her hair? (and isn't her outfit adorable??)
