Doll Craft; How to Make an AG-sized Fish Tank!

Hi, you guys! I know I asked you which you wanted to see first-the doll's camping trip, or the doll fish tank-and the one vote I got was toward the camping trip, but I was so excited about this craft! It came out SO. SO. SO. CUTE.  Plus, it's been rainy here on the east coast, so I haven't been able to do a lot of outdoor photography. I hope you don't mind!

YOU WILL NEED;

• A clear plastic toothpick box (mine is diamond brand)
• Colorful seed beads
• Mini shells or other decorations
• A plastic fish (I got mine at dollar tree)
• Hot glue
• An empty pot paint container (not shown)

Step 1. Figure out where you want your fish to be. Mine is at the top and a little to the side.

Step 2. Hot glue your fish in place. (Be careful with the hot glue!! I burned myself when I was doing this, and I don't want your fate to be similar!)

Step 3. Next, squirt some hot glue onto the bottom of you 'aquarium' 😉 and place the seed beads on top. Let cool/dry

Step 4. Put some more seed beads on top for a loose, natural look, and hot glue your shells and other decorations in place.

Step 5. Now snap the back onto your fish tank, and Ta-Da! Your doll now has a fish of her very own! Adalyn, with the suggestion of Kit, named the fish Hans Christian Andersen-but because that takes too long to say, the marine life form will go by Andy. ;)

Optional Steps; The container of fish food is a mini pot paint container with it's tabs cut off. I wrote a label and taped it on, and voila! Now Adalyn can feed her underwater friend.

Easter Craft Collab; DIY Mini Egg Wreath!

Today I'm going to be showing you how to make this wreath out of mini plastic Easter eggs!

You will need:
Mini plastic Easter eggs (I found mine at Kroger and it took about one package.)
Hot glue or E6000 glue
Ribbon of your choice
Tape

First, tape your eggs together in a circle. Only put tape on one side.

Next, flip the wreath over and put glue in between each egg. Let the glue completely dry before doing the next steps.

Once the glue is dry you can flip the wreath over again and peel off the tape.

Glue an egg in between each egg. (That sounded weird.)

Depending on where you want to hang the wreath you may need to add a hanger on the back.

If you want you can add a bow on the front.

Here's what mine turned out like! Isn't it so cute?

Easter Craft Collab; DIY Easter Stained Glass!

Hi Everyone! Today I'm going to be showing you how to make stained glass.

You will need:
Crayons
Scissors
Oil (baby oil or cooking oil)
Small container (to put the oil in)
Paintbrush

PRINTABLES

First cut out your printables, then color them in with crayons.

Next pour some oil in the container and brush it over the top of the printable. Do NOT put oil on the black part.

Easter Craft Collab; Doll-Sized Chick Candy Jars!

Hi everyone! Today I have the inaugural craft for Anna's and my Easter Craft Collab! Chicks are springish, so I'll be showing you how to make these adorable chick candy jars-in miniature! (In my mind, everything is cuter in miniature.) Okay, let's get started!

You will need;

• Acrylic paint. I suggest gloss finish.
• Mini corked glass jars (I got mine at Michaels)
• A paint brush
• Orange foam
• White foam

Here's a close up on my paint-I'm using Apple Barrel Gloss Finish in Dandelion Yellow.

Pour your paint out. I didn't have a palette, so I used a plastic lid. Only start with a little, because it dries quickly, and you don't want to waste any!

Next, paint your jar! Try to make all your strokes go in one direction. I got best results with a horizontal stroke.

While your jar dries, paint your cork. You could do it in a different color, but I left mine matching.

 Next, cut out a little triangle for your chick's beak.

Also cut out two little white circles, for the eyes.

Use a pen to add detail to them.

By now, your jar should be dry, so use a little glue to attach it to the jar.

Then do the same thing for the eyes.

Congratulations! You're done! Adi and Emily had so much fun with this. I tied colored yarn around the necks of the jars to give them character. (AREN'T THEY SOOO CUTE?? EEEE!)
